AWARENESS – Possible. Easy. Elegant.

Recovering from an injury? Interested in alleviating a recurring or nagging pain or lessening the effects of a disease? Awareness enables our ability to perceive, to feel, and to be conscious of events, objects, sensory patterns. In this level of consciousness, sensations can be noticed without implying understanding and used when reacting to a condition or event. Self-awareness is crucial for increasing one’s capacity for introspection.

Intent to provide a renewed sense of physical and mental health to their students, Debbie Rosas and Carlos Aya-Rosas found support in Feldenkrais Method the work of Moshe Feldenkrais. Focusing on and feeling the body in action is a way to create permanent change. Teaching that nothing is permanent when it comes to the body, we can use this method to change our behavioral patterns through mental input and physical stimulation. Feldenkrais reminds us that when the body functions effortlessly we can change, improve and feel more alive. Like Nia Technique, ease is the way to health, fitness and well-being.
