Held in the privacy of your home, over the phone or at a private studio in  East Austin.

Personal INVESTMENT:

  • $60 – 90 minute session
  • $50 – 60 minute session

Why book a private session?

Private sessions are ideal for those unable to attend group classes
Physical circumstances of all types prevent participation in group fitness classes. Private sessions are available when you are and will be customized to meet your particular needs, and goals. Private sessions are the perfect learning environment to deepen your personal practice.

A private session allows for a more intimate view into your practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your practice or spend some time working with an injury or condition. When you work with a teacher one on one, the teacher is able to help you experience the benefits of Nia or Tai Chi in a safe, personal way.

Private classes is an invaluable tool for students of all levels and experience. Private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. Private Nia or Tai Chi can help you deepen your practice, gain confidence, answer questions and provide guidance. A home practice can be tailored to your individual needs.

For new students

As a new student, you may be intimidated by the public classroom environment. Private classes allow teachers the opportunity to focus on you and make sure you are getting off to an appropriate start. Private instruction can help you integrate into public classes as well.

For more experienced students

Experienced students benefit from privates as well. You are able to have a deeper insight into specific moves or aspects of Nia that interest you. Private sessions are the perfect learning environment. Private classes can also give the experienced student time to learn about the philosophy or other aspects of interest, such as meditation, kinesthetic awareness and breathing practices.

In a private session, undivided attention is devoted to your practice. Every session is designed specifically to meet your individual needs. For some students, the session may be entirely a physical practice. For others, the session may be a combination of meditation, discussion of philosophy, and physical.
